PEAK Students Receive Honors at 26th MSEPS

Congrats Everyone!

We are super excited to announce that PEAK students did very well at the 26th Annual Midwest Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium (MSEPS) in Chicago, IL.

Michael Souders, PEAK Graduate Assistant, won a presentation award for his roundtable discussion titled, “Investigating Physical Self-Concept and Quality of Life in Student Veterans through Focus-Group Interviews.”

Also, the poster presentation titled, “The Glass Ceiling Has Turned to Concrete: Upward Mobility Perceptions of Women of Color in Senior-Level College Athletic Administration” by Miriam Merrill (Temple University) won best poster presentation for which our very own Niteesa Brooks was third author!

Congrats everyone!
